Evangelion NERV Car Navigation System Unveiled
Car-owning Evangelion fans not satisfied with only having a NERV phone can now augment their piloting skills with the Evangelion Portable Navi, a fully voiced Neon Genesis Evangelion themed GPS car navigation device, finally allowing them to drive themselves into the sea in style.
Not only does the device boast spoken instructions voiced by such seiyuu as Megumi Hayashibara (Rei) and Megumi Ogata (Shinji), it also boasts Evangelion style fonts and graphics, and appearances from the characters concerned.
For the truly reckless, it can also play TV and movies, and accomplish the other functions expected of such a device.
The Evangelion Portable Navi (or “NERV GPS Navigation System” in English) is due for release on the 20th of April for ¥39,800, exclusively through the Evangelion Store.

I have nothing mean to say. I want the FUCK out of this.
Well… I guess it’s KINDA creepy, conceptually, but so am I.
Yes, I know it’s not actually My Little Pony. It was a joke. That I stole from Kotaku. Whom I linked.
The weirdest official Eva art I’ve seen? http://weirdofficialevangelionart.tumblr.com/post/11751477720/what-the-hell-is-this certainly distressed me, but the weirdest was probably http://weirdofficialevangelionart.tumblr.com/post/11598689243/misato-misato-wake-up-theres-an-angel because, I don’t know, I got a thing against ponies now I guess.
I have nothing but respect for the various niches of nerdom on the internet*, but now the bronies have gone too far.
Or… is Rei a brony??
*lies
Well, making fun of Eva and making fun of Xenogears are skill sets that overlap greatly, so… yep! That is me.
I’m just really easily distracted.
I have no idea if there is any overlap in my, uh, various readerships, as it were, but my Xenogears thing doesn’t have a tumblr, and whatever, Evangelion and Xenogears are basically the same thing.
So yeah, I updated my Xenogears thing. I’d generally assume that most of tumblr is too young to be familiar with Xenogears, but I once assumed the same thing about Evangelion, and look where that got me.
